Scott Levy
Teaching Artist - Improv
Scott Levy has been involved with improv, sketch, and other assorted comedy escapades for most of his time on the midwestern portion of our planet. Since 2016, he has taught at Chicago's Second City Training Center in the Improv, Writing, Stand-Up, Wellness, and Storytelling programs. His roots at Second City go back even further; in 2004, he was in the Second City Unhinged improv show, Every Old Man Was Once Young, where he worked with such luminaries as Jimmy Carrane, Nick Johne, and Liz Allen. He trained at I.O. and performed on two Harold Teams there. In his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, his sketch group Monkeytime had a syndicated sketch show that ran on various NPR affiliate stations, which led to his gig as an announcer and music host on the late lamented WNKU. A multi-published short story and comedy writer, he is currently working on two novels.
