Taught by professional working artists and educators, the Oil Lamp Academy in Glenview offers adult performance and writing classes ranging from acting to improv and storytelling to stand-up, as well as play development, sketch comedy writing, and more.

Oil Lamp Academy classes for adults take place at our dedicated training center, just around the corner from the theater on Waukegan Road in Glenview. There, we offer a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that inspires adult students to celebrate their unique strengths, support each other's growth, and give everyone's light a chance to shine.
