Graybill Partington

Teaching Artist - Theater

Graybill Partington (she/her) is a theatre educator, director, and teaching artist who has completed a double major in Theatre (with a focus on Theatre for Young Audiences) and Psychology at Northwestern University. She has taught and worked with elementary, middle, and high school students through youth-focused and professional theatre organizations including Mudlark Theater Company, About Face Theatre, Young People’s Theatre of Chicago, Seesaw Theatre (which creates sensory-friendly theatre for disabled audiences), and Brown Ledge Theater (a long-running summer theatre program for young performers).


Her experience includes teaching acting classes, directing student productions, supporting inclusive and accessible rehearsal rooms, and guiding students through the full creative process from first rehearsal to performance. Graybill’s teaching centers collaboration, creativity, and confidence-building, and she is passionate about making theatre a welcoming, joyful space where every student feels supported to take risks

and grow.
